Biography
Sister Judith Hayes Davis was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, along with her twin sister, to Mrs. CeCelia Hayes and the late Dr. Edward D. Hayes. She grew up in church and gave her life to Christ at the age of twelve. Sister Davis is a graduate of Tuskegee Institute University in Tuskegee, Alabama; she completed Master’s work at North Carolina Central University. She taught middle school for several years and most recently served as a special education liaison in the Durham Public School System. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Pastor Fredrick A. Davis. She is the proud mother of three handsome sons, Fredrick, Jordan, and John. Additionally, she is “mother-in-love” to Josephine, and “GrandD” to Fredrick III and Lincoln. Mrs. Davis is a woman given to prayer and is an intercessor. Whenever given the opportunity, she will open her mouth boldly to say a word for God. She loves to read in her spare time. She epitomizes the essence of a virtuous woman as she gives of her time, talents, and treasures to her God, her family, her church, and her community.
